Clara Rosella “Pat” Engling, 86, of Natoma, Kansas, died on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville, Kansas.
Clara was born on March 17, 1934, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Albin and Florance (Culley) Golembiewski.
She met, fell in love and was united in marriage to Edward M. Engling on March 08, 1954 in Lawton, Oklahoma. From this union they were blessed with 5 children Edward, Christine, Michael, Andrew and Anthony. They raised their children and called home in the Codell and Natoma area. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker.
Surviving family include son, Edward M. Engling, Jr. of Natoma, Kansas; daughter, Christine M. Hoffman (Ken) of Hays, Kansas; son, Michael A. Engling (Dee) of Phillipsburg, Kansas; son, Andrew L. Engling (April) of Natoma, Kansas; and son, Anthony C. Engling (Lori) of Salina, Kansas; 2 brothers Joseph Golembiewski and Ben Bogus; 2 sisters Frances McGee and Agnes Vidal; 17 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ed on July 02, 2017; her parents and a brother, Albert Golembiewski.
A private family service will be held at a later date. The family has chosen cremation. A memorial has been set for the Natoma Community Center and condolences may be sent to Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, who is in charge of these arrangements.
