Susan Carolyn (Jeffus) Hill, 74, of Russell, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas.
Susan was born March 1, 1947 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was the daughter of Richard Fulton and Pepita(Otero) Park. She grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico and graduated from Santa Fe High School in 1964.
Susan was a retired Wal Mart Personnel Manager. She worked for them in New Mexico and Washington state. She enjoyed doing Genealogy, knitting, crocheting and reading history and mystery novels.
Susan’s surviving family include: her Mother Pepita (John) Park of Beverly Hills, FL, three children; Tamara Sikes of Tampa Bay, Florida, Rebecca Perry (Dick) of Roy, Washington and David Sikes (Amber) of Russell, Kansas; two brothers, Jim (Jeanette) Jeffus of Houston, TX and Steve (Maggie) Jeffus of Surprise, AZ; and six grandchildren, Samantha, Allison, Katie, Kasey, Sophie and August.
Susan was preceded in death by her father, husband Curtis, and son William Sikes.
The family will hold Memorial services in New Mexico at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Condolences may be sent to Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, who is in charge of these arrangements.
