Terri Lynn Moreland, 65, of Russell, Kansas, died on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at the Ellsworth Medical Center in Ellsworth, Kansas.
Terri was born on August 11, 1958, in Lamar, Colorado, the daughter of Mel and Mary Lou (Harmon) Polson. She was raised by her mother and stepfather Ron Moreland who adopted her at a young age. She grew up and lived most of her life in Colorado. She was blessed with a son Justin R. Morland and they moved to Russell, Kansas in the late 1990’s. She worked for several years in Russell at Myers Furniture as a salesperson and bookkeeper, Meridy’s Restaurant and as a clerk at the Liquor Station. She enjoyed spending time having fun with her family and close friends.
Surviving family includes her half-brothers Brian Maul and Tony Maul and Aunt Linda Gibbs and husband Phil of Russell, Kansas, Aunt Donna Thacker and husband Bob of Russell, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her mother, stepfather, her son Justin on June 26, 2021 and brother Brad Moreland. A gathering service to meet with the family will be from 1 P.M. to 3 P.M. on Wednesday, June 05, 2024, at the Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary in Russell, Kansas. Cremation has been selected by the family and cards and condolences can be sent to the mortuary. Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
