Carly Marie Mudd, 43, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, peacefully passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 in Colorado Springs with her family by her side. Carly courageously battled medical issues, but sadly it was too much to overcome and she left us much too soon.
Carly was born August 21, 1978 in Great Bend, Kansas. She was one of two daughters born to Carroll and Colleen (Driscoll) Mudd. She grew up in Russell and graduated from Russell High School. She moved to Colorado Springs in 2012 with her son to enjoy everything Colorado has to offer. They especially enjoyed spending quality time on Mom and Son Day trips throughout Colorado.
Carly’s surviving family include her son, Collin Mudd of the home; mother, Colleen Mudd of Colorado Springs, Colorado; many Aunts, Uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father and sister Corie Mudd. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, January 21, 2022, at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary. The family will be present to greet friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Friday followed by a Vigil and Rosary at 7:00 PM at the mortuary. A private family service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2022. Condolences may be sent to Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, who is in charge of these arrangements.
