Harold Sheridan Brumley, 75, of Russell, Kansas, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020 at his home with family by his side.
Harold Sheridan Brumley was born on November 06, 1944, in Pawnee, Oklahoma, the son of Harold and Delma Jane (Trent) Brumley. He grew up in the Okeene, Oklahoma and Wichita, Kansas, areas before moving to Russell, Kansas. He attended Russell schools and then joined the United States Navy in 1962.
He worked for Crete Carriers, Speedway and Real Cattle Company in McCool Junction, Nebraska from which he retired. He was a life member of the Russell V.F.W. #6240 and the American Legion #99. He formed a union with Pam Lightfoot in June 04, 2009. He enjoyed travelling with Pam, baking, watching movies, fishing, playing darts, and dominoes, spending time entertaining friends.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Pam Lightfoot of Russell, Kansas, his children Richard Brumley, Tina Lewis and Michael Brumley, step daughter, Amber Sikes (David); brother Felix Brumley; grandchildren, August Ricker, Allison Davis and Kasey Davis; and niece Alisha Henderson.
He is preceded by his parents, sisters Marcella and Sue, grandparents Doc and Iva Trent.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The family has requested Cremation and no visitation will be held. Condolences may be sent to Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell, who are in charge of these arrangements.
