Maryln L. Boltin

Maryln Lee Boltin, 82, of Bunker Hill, Kansas, died on Friday, September 06, 2024, at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.

Maryln was born on May 07, 1942, in Kingman, Kansas, the daughter of Eugene and Elizabeth (Lord) Kaufman.  She grew up in Kingman, Kansas, and graduated from Kingman High School in the class of 1960, and attended Pittsburg State University for 2 years.  She met, fell in love and was united in marriage to Arthur “Art” Boltin on August 25, 1963, in Kingman, Kansas.  From this union Maryln and Art were blessed with two sons Shawn and Steve.  She worked hard as a loving wife, mother and homemaker and worked as an operator with Southwestern Bell.  She was a passionate artist that enjoyed painting, knitting and leather works and enjoyed teaching her skills to others.  Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Surviving family include her husband Art of the home; son Shawn Boltin and wife Rosie of Black Forest, Colorado; daughter-in-law Melody of Russell, brothers Kenneth Kaufman and wife Neva of Boise, Idaho and Mike Kaufman and wife Peggy of Kingman, Kansas; sister Aletha Budig and husband Gene of Great Bend, Kansas and four grandchildren Daniella Cavaliere, Malachai, Isaac and Zeke Boltin.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son Steve Boltin.

Cremation has been selected by the family and a memorial service will be held at a later date.  Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell, Kansas is in charge of the funeral service arrangements.
