Michael David Wolfe, the son of Donald E. and Ruth (Ochs) Wolfe, was born June 20, 1942. He graduated from Russell High School in the Class of 1960 and then attended the University of Kansas. Upon his completion of studies at the University of Kansas, he resided and worked in Colorado Springs, initially as a math teacher and then with several firms in information technology until his retirement. Michael passed away on Tuesday December 5, 2023.
Surviving family include his brother, Philip Wolfe of Topeka, Kansas; two nephews, two grand nieces and a grand nephew. A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the Russell City Cemetery. No visitation being held. Condolences may be sent to Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell, who is in charge of these arrangements.
