Carly Marie Mudd, 43, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, peacefully  passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 in Colorado Springs with her family by her side.  Carly courageously battled medical issues, but sadly it was too much to overcome and she left us much too soon. Roderic E. Deines, 90, of Russell, Kansas died on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Pioneer Ridge Nursing Home in Lawrence, Kansas. Rod was born on October 18th, 1931, in Russell, Kansas, the son of Herman and Marcella (O’Grady) Deines. He spent most of his younger years in Russell but for a short time lived in Chicago, Illinois.  Growing up he worked the family business at the Deines Furniture Store. Paul was born March 13, 1938 in Centerville, Kansas, the son of Ellsworth Paul and Lilly (Bickerstaff) Satchell. He grew up in Centerville and graduated from Parker High School. Sarah Anne Schultz, 34, of Hays, Kansas and formerly of Russell, Kansas passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the Hays Medical Center. Sarah was born August 7, 1987 in Tarzana, California. She was the daughter of Joel W. and Donna J.(Dreier) Schultz. She grew up in Russell and graduated from Russell High School. Sarah was disabled, but she faced those challenges with a big heart and even bigger smile. She was a very active member of the Celebration Church in Hays.
