Lewis Wayne “Bud” Eulert, 87, of Hays and Paradise, Kansas, died on Friday, May 31, 2019, at the family farm in Paradise, Kansas. Bud was born on October 18, 1931, in Rural Paradise, Kansas, the son of Otto C. and Elsie (Reich) Eulert.  He grew up in Paradise and graduated from Paradise High School.  After high school he graduated from Ft. Rita Mae (Wallace) Maupin, 86, of Paradise, Kansas, died on Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Hays Medical Center, Hays, KS. She was born on October 09, 1932 to Richard Theodore and Edria Mae (Gile) Wallace in Waldo, KS. Rita attended Waldo Public Schools. She had a love for the game of basketball and was the main rival of contention for the other teams. Her coach often said, pass Rita the ball, she can score! Robert John “Bob” Olsen, 82, of Russell, Kansas, died on Friday, May 17, 2019, at the Russell Regional Hospital. Mabel Irene Koelling Pruter, 98, of Cartwright, Oklahoma, and former Natoma, Kansas resident, died on Sunday, May 05, 2019, at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. Mabel Irene Schneider was born at Laton, Kansas, December 18, 1920, to Emma (Rediker) and John A. Schneider.   She was baptized January 9,1921 in Immanuel Lutheran Church north of Natoma. Her father died when she was four and the family moved to Natoma.  She was confirmed at St. John’s in Natoma.  Mabel attended all twelve years of education in the Natoma school graduating in 1939. Virginia Faith Steponick, 90, of Russell, Kansas, died on Thursday, May 02, 2019, at the Wheatland Nursing Center in Russell. Virginia was born on May 12, 1928, in Russell, Kansas, the daughter of John and Grace (McAllister) Stephens.  She grew up in Russell and graduated from Russell High School in 1946.  She was united in marriage to Mike Steponick in 1976.  Mike preceded her in death in 1997.  She worked for Bell Helicopter for many years.  She also lived in Washington, Texas and California for many years.  She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Russell.
