Amelda Julia Bieker

Amelda Bieker , 87 passed away April 13, 2012, in Tulsa, OK.  She was born February 5, 1925 in Emmeran, KS, the daughter of Alex and Clara Windholz.  She married Dan I Bieker October 25, 1944 where they shared 52 wonderful years until death April 11, 1997.   Now, in death, they
will continue their life together for eternity,

She graduated from the Academy of Beauty, Great Bend, KS with her daughter Kathleen Harms in March 1967 and was a hairstylist in Russell, KS for 18 years.

Amelda moved to Tulsa, OK in 1998 where she lived until her death.

She is survived by daughters Rosanne LeSage of Irvine, Ca; Kathleen Harms and friend Chemmie Terry of Tulsa OK; Grandson, Jason Harms and wife Leslie, Van Buren, AR, their four children Jason II and Jonny Harms, Chris Bayless and wife Megan and boys Ayden and Mason, Van Buren
AR; Michael Bayless, Virginia Beach, VA; three sisters, Viola Weigel, Gorham, KS, Bertha Brown, Walker, KS, Arlene Brown,Wakeeny, KS, and many nieces, nephews, sister in laws and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and one sister.

A Memorial Mass Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, May 5, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Gorham, KS with Father Charles Steier officiating.  Family members meet at St. Mary's at 10:00 A.M. day of service.
