, 89 of Russell, died
Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the
Hilda was united in marriage to Leo Michel on April 22, 1949 in Russell.
This union was blessed with two daughters; Rosa Lee and Bonnie.
Leo preceded her in death on May 12, 1992.
Hilda was a devoted wife and loving mother.
She took great pride in her home and family.
She is a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Russell.
She also belonged to the Busy Stitchers Sewing Club.
She loved sewing, crocheting, quilting, cooking, baking and watching birds.
Hilda was a generous person who was always willing to help anyone.
Surviving family include her daughters, Rose Lorenzen and husband John of Galena, Illinois
and Bonnie Hansen and husband Steven of Salina, Kansas; and sister, Esther Goetting of
Phoenix, Arizona;
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Herman Ehrlich, Marvin Ehrlich and William Ehrlich; and sister, Lydia Herdt.
Celebration of Hildas Life will be held at 10:30
A.M. Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at St. John Lutheran Church of Russell with Pastor Roger Dennis officiating.
