Linda K. ( Henderson ) Connelly, 61 of Russell died Saturday, September 13, 2008 at her home. Linda was born July 5, 1947 in Russell, the daughter of Fred and Ada Alice (Lane) Henderson. She grew up in Russell and graduated from Russell High School in 1966.

Linda has lived most of her life in the Russell area, but she has also lived in Belton , MO. , Lexington , MO. and in Oklahoma for a short time. She worked for Russell Inn as a maid and was presently working at Pizza Hut.

Linda was a quiet person who enjoyed taking her dog to the country and watching all the wildlife.

She is survived by her sister Sandy LaSage and husband Roy of Olathe, KS and her dog Hohgie. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at the Lucas Cemetery in Lucas , KS . Visitation will be from 9 AM to 8 PM Tuesday at the mortuary with the family present to greet friends from 6 PM to 7 PM. Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary of Russell is in charge of these arrangements.
