Lucile Helena (Keil) Karst Hall,
94 of Hays and formerly
of Russell died Sunday, December 7, 2008 at the
Lucile was united in marriage to Richard Karst.
He preceded her in death in 1962. This union was blessed with three children; Kay, Gary and Donald.
She then was united in marriage to Joe A. Hall on September 19, 1978.
Lucile was a devoted mother and homemaker through out her life.
She enjoyed sewing and doing all types of crafts, especially stuffed toys.
She was a member of the
Surviving family include her husband of 30 years, Joe
of the home; daughter, Kay Elsasser and husband Allen of San Antonio, Texas; son, Gary Karst and wife Barbara of Spokane, Washington; two brothers, Leland Keil of Galatia, Kansas and Glen Keil of Russell; four sisters, LaFern Trent and Thelma Gross both of Hays, Kansas, Elsie Herber of Edmund, Oklahoma and Aileen Sanders of Wells, Kansas; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Donald Karst, one grandson Richard Karst, brothers Clarence Keil and Wayne Keil, and sister Claranetta Brainerd, and her dog Precious.
Celebration of Luciles Life will be held at 10:30 A.M. Thursday,
December 11, 2008 at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary in Russell.
