William Dean Dole, 73, of Russell, Kansas, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Russell Regional Hospital in Russell, Kansas.
William was born July 26, 1951 in Russell, Kansas. He was the son of Kenneth and Dorothy Marie (Beaty) Dole. He grew up in Russell and graduated from Russell High School. He then attended the Aims Junior College in Colorado. He did local car detailing and worked with the Wire Company. He was a movie buff that enjoyed 30’s and 40’s movies and early sitcom shows.
William is survived by his cousin, Larry Nelson (Cathy) of Russell, Kansas; cousin, Jeff Nelson (Karyn) of Russell, Kansas, and nephew, Shane Poche’ of Russell, Kansas.
William was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Nancy Stoppel; and nephew, Dustin Poche’.
A Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 6, 2025 at the Russell City Cemetery.
No visitation being held. A memorial has been established with Main Street Manor. Contributions and condolences may be sent to Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, who is in charge of these arrangements.
